You are cordially invited to come and worship with us at our church. Our worship service is at 11:30 A.M. each Saturday morning. Our Sabbath School program is from 10:00 A.M. to 11:15 A.M.
Each 2nd Sabbath of the month, after the worship service, we have a fellowship potluck luncheon to which you are welcome to attend.

Brief Church History
The Woodruff Seventh-day Adventist Church began with a handful of Adventists who had been attending the Spartanburg church, but expressed a desire to branch out and witness in the lower part of the county. The Arts Center, across from City Hall, was the first meeting place, but soon the beautiful and historic Presbyterian Church became available to rent. With the Presbyterian's consent we began to repair the sanctuary and soon had an appropriate place of worship. We stayed there on West Georgia Street for approximately 16 years until we moved into our own facility not too far away on East Georgia Street.
With much hard work, financial strain, and in spite of many upsets, we were able to construct our present church. We now have a lovely building that glorifies the One we worship. Keeping with the Christian belief of sharing, we want others in the community to enjoy our blessings and invite them to visit and get to know us.
Our church members include young adults, retirees, an ex-marine, a schoolteacher, a truck driver, and other regular working people you would be proud to know. Everyone rallies to meet the various needs that arise. There is a spirit of oneness as we prepare for our Lord's second coming.
Simplistic lifestyles are the norm among Adventists. Many enjoy gardening, cooking, reading and writing, while a few are known to be enthralled by an exciting sports event. Members always seem to enjoy the food and fellowship of the monthly potlucks.
The spirit of love is shared at the local nursing home each month as we take a worship and song service to the patients. Christmas caroling, food drives for the community, yard sales for the building fund, and seminars for anyone interested are just some of the projects that keep this small band of Christians busy.
